The high-end spas offer a greater variety of treatment options, some of which incorporate other traditional healing techniques along with the massage technique. In some spas, traditional Thai herbal steam is offered along with Thai massage. The herbal steam uses a blend of medicinal herbs such as lemongrass, turmeric and kaffir lime, among many others, which have the ability to detoxify the body and beautify the complexion.
